Muscular Dystrophy
Each year volunteers from all around help the Westphal - Cole Harbour Firefighters Association with the Don Crook Memorial Ladder-a-thon. The Ladder-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year and with support from our the community including local business we managed to last year raise over $30,000 Each year a selected association member sits on our ladder truck at 4 Forest Hills Parkway for 50 hours to raise money for MD. We hold boot tolls at the entrances and exits where each year people from all around HRM generously donate to our cause.Community Groups
Each year WCHFFA donated money to Cole Harbour Boys and Girls club, Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children, Salvation army, Christmas Daddies to name a few. WCHFFA also works with other agencies at Christmas to help families who need some extra help.
